Think about your personal journey in coming to believe the Bible. Are you like Timothy who “from childhood” had known the Scriptures? (2 Timothy 3: 15) Can you identify with the experience of the people in Berea? (Acts 17: 10-12)

I am not like Timothy at all unfortunately. I was not taught the good news. I honestly did not even know a Bible existed until I was like 14, and even then I did not read it. I wouldn't dare talk bad about it, degrade Christianity. I used to call myself Agnostic. I just didn't know. All I knew any one could be right or wrong. Stupidly I believed this until I was 33 years old. I am thankful to say that I am never turning back and Jesus really is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
I can relate to the people of Berea in a way. They were eager and excited to receive the good news. I was and am as well. I get excited to learn more, understand more, and see more. I was just telling my kids the other day that it would be so cool to walk where Jesus has walked, like on a tour or something, and then get baptized in the Jordan river. I was so excited talking about it. I hope and pray that people will come around to Jesus. They really do not know what they are missing. And it is a whole lot.
