Think about your own personal story of how you received the precious gift of salvation and how you would relate this to a friend.

This is tough to talk about, but I will now I guess. So, I lost my house, my job, my pappy passed away, my whole family was homeless, sometimes we slept in hotels, other times parks and the car. I was a raging alcoholic. I could not deal with the depression of life, so I masked it by being drunk everyday. One day at Family Dollar, when checking out, I began to feel really weird. I thought I was going to black out. It got worse and I was in fear of dying. I could feel it. Maybe alcohol poisoning was going to end me. I quickly walked out to my car and began begging Jesus to help me. I was crying and in a full on panic. I said, "Jesus if you help me, I will stop, I promise". The feeling immediately went away. Ever since that has happened I have been a follower and I will never turn back. Thank you Jesus!
