Welcome to The WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE

MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WHEN WALKING WITH JESUS

Jesus is the Truth

Did you know that all religions know Jesus?  Did you now that they all claim that he tells the truth?  If he tells the truth then why won't we listen when he says that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life?

The Right Bible

A big problem today is that the Bible can be hard to follow, based on the version.  It is very important to choose a Bible that you can read, relate to, and understand.

Read Scripture Often

Read your Bible as often as possible.  Maybe replace an hour of scrolling with an hour of reading the Bible.  Take notes, so when you are stuck or confused, you can research it.

Pray Often

Jesus is always listening.  Remember he is not a genie.  Also, remember GOD does not answer our prayers in the way we think.  He does listen and answer, but in HIS way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Christianity?

I choose Christianity because it is the truth.  I have developed a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior.  By being loyal to him and doing my best to learn him and follow him has made my life completely transform right before my eyes.  I would never choose another belief because I know and believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Why are my prayers being ignored?

Trust and believe, your prayers are not being ignored.  God does not answer prayers like he is a genie.  God places obstacles on your life to push you to meet your own goals.  For example, if you pray to God that you want to lose weight, he is not going to mail you a box of Ozempic.  He is going to put something in your life that will make you end up losing weight.  It also takes time and you must be patient.  You do not think you are the only one praying do you?

Why does God let people suffer?

The reason that suffering happens is because free will and its consequences, the development of character through hardship, and the idea that suffering can ultimately lead to good.

1. Free Will and its Consequences:
  • Many believe God gave humans free will, the ability to choose between good and evil.
  • This freedom, while allowing for good choices, also means humans can choose actions that cause suffering to themselves and others.
  • Suffering can be seen as a natural consequence of sin and bad choices.
2. Character Development:
  • Some argue that suffering can be a tool for spiritual growth and character development.
  • Facing adversity can lead to increased resilience, empathy, and dependence on God.
  • For example, Romans 5:3-5 suggests that suffering can produce endurance, character, and hope.
3. Ultimate Good:
  • Some believe that even though suffering is painful, it can ultimately contribute to a greater good, often unseen by humans.
  • This could be related to bringing individuals closer to God, refining their faith, or fulfilling a divine plan.
  • In this view, God uses suffering to achieve purposes beyond our current understanding.
4. God's Sovereignty and Mystery:
  • Another perspective emphasizes the mystery of God's ways and the limits of human understanding.
  • While God is often seen as good and loving, He also has purposes and plans that may not be fully revealed to humans.
  • This view suggests that we may not always understand why God allows suffering, but we can trust in His ultimate wisdom and goodness.
5. Satan and Evil:
  • Some traditions, particularly those influenced by the Bible, attribute suffering to the influence of Satan or other evil forces.
  • This perspective suggests that suffering is not solely caused by God's actions but can also be a result of spiritual warfare and the presence of evil in the world.

In summary the reasons that God allows suffering is: consequences of free will, the development of character, the potential for ultimate good, the mystery of God's ways, and the influence of evil forces.
